Arizona AG Urges State s Democratic Senators to Oppose Court-Packing Proposal

Arizona AG Urges State’s Democratic Senators to Oppose Court-Packing Proposal Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich on Tuesday wrote a letter to Sens. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.) and Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.), urging them to reject the House Democrat proposal to expand the Supreme Court from nine to 13 seats. Brnovich said in his letter (pdf) that efforts to expand the nation’s top court would be “nothing less than a direct assault on judicial independence.” “The cornerstone of our Constitution rests on the notion that power is divided between separated branches of government. This unique system creates checks and balances an essential defense against any form of tyranny,” he continued.

Arizona AG Asks Democrat Senators to Deny Court-Packing

His response came after the packing proposal last week when he approaches the two Democrats of Arizona. The Judiciary Act of 2021 will have four seats more to the nation s top court, having the effect of flipping the balance from six to three in favor of conservative-appointed justices or seven to six in the opposite direction. Liberals have been trying to pack the courts, but they have stepped up after failing to stop the appointment of then-Judge Amy Coney Barrett. Democrats who forwarded the bill are Sen. Ed Markey (D-Mass.), with Reps. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.), Hank Johnson (D-Ga.), and Mondaine Jones (D-N.Y.). Their ultimate goal is to place judges who are not impartial but willing to agree to any whim of the Democrats.

Packing the court strikes out independent judiciary Sen. Chuck Grassley R-Iowa Former President Franklin Delano Roosevelt used his bully pulpit to try to pack the Supreme Court. He struck out, and in the 1938 midterm elections, his party lost 72 seats in the House of Representatives and seven seats in the Senate. As they say, history repeats itself. Perhaps that’s why Speaker Nancy Pelosi poured cold water on the partisan bill introduced this week by House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler. When asked about the court-packing bill, Pelosi said, “I don’t know that it’s a good idea or a bad idea.”

Here it comes: Dems making moves to take over Supreme Court and make it another legislative branch that will rubber stamp their Marxist agenda

https://www.afinalwarning.com/511553.html (Natural News) After Joe Biden became the Democratic nominee for president last year, he was asked often whether he favored “packing” the U.S. Supreme Court with left-wing judges, making the nation’s highest court nothing more than a fourth branch of government that served to rubber-stamp a far-left Marxist agenda. Though Biden once called such court-packing a “boneheaded” idea, he refused to say whether he would agree to packing the court if he won. In fact, he even told one reporter in mid-October that Americans didn’t “have a right” to know how he felt about the issue under the guise of ‘allowing’ his GOP opponent to know his position (which was a tell in and of itself because if Biden had said simply “no,” he’s not in favor of it, that wouldn’t have given President Donald Trump any political ammo in the first place).
