42% Say U.S. Heading in Right Direction

Forty-two percent (42%) of Likely U.S. Voters think the country is heading in the right direction, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey for the week ending May 27, 2021.
This week’s finding is up three points from a week ago.

The national telephone survey of 2,500 Likely Voters was conducted by Rasmussen Reports from May 23-27, 2021. The margin of sampling error for the survey is +/- 2 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC. The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 53% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Biden’s job performance. Forty-five percent (45%) disapprove.
The latest figures include 32% who Strongly Approve of the job Biden is doing and 36% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -4. (see trends)
