Voters Not Very Confident in Bidenâs Ability to Deal With Terrorism Threat

Most voters view domestic terrorism as a greater danger to America than foreign threats, and donât have much confidence that President Biden can cope with the threat.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that only 30% of Likely U.S. Voters say they are Very Confident in Bidenâs ability to deal with terrorist threats to the United States. Another 16% say they are Somewhat Confident that Biden is able to deal with terrorist threats. Twelve percent (12%) are Not Very Confident and 40% are Not At All Confident in Bidenâs ability to deal with terrorist threats. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 48% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Biden’s job performance. Forty-nine percent (49%) disapprove.
The latest figures include 31% who Strongly Approve of the job Biden is doing and 41% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -10. (see trends)
Approval of Biden s presidential performance peaked in mid-February, when his total approval reached 53% versus 43% total disapproval.

Thirty-nine percent (39%) of Likely U.S. Voters think the country is heading in the right direction, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey for the week ending April 29, 2021.
This week’s finding remains the same as a week ago.

The national telephone survey of 2,500 Likely Voters was conducted by Rasmussen Reports from April 25-29, 2021. The margin of sampling error for the survey is +/- 2 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC. At 100 days, Americans say Biden has faced bigger challenges and performed better than Trump (LOL)

Americans believe that President Biden faced bigger challenges than his predecessor Donald Trump during his first 100 days in office and performed better than Trump despite those difficulties, according to a new Yahoo News/YouGov poll.
The survey of 1,558 U.S. adults, which was conducted from April 27 to April 29, found that less than a third say Trump’s challenges were bigger than Biden’s (31 percent) or that Trump performed better (32 percent) during the first 100 days of his presidency. Pluralities say Biden has performed better than Trump (41 percent) in the face of greater obstacles (37 percent).
By More Than 3-to-1 Margin, Voters Say Capitalism Is Better Than Socialism

Despite all the criticism capitalism has endured in recent years, American voters still overwhelmingly prefer it to socialism.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that only 18% of Likely U.S. Voters say socialism is a better system than capitalism. More than three times as many voters (65%) say capitalism is better. Seventeen percent (17%) are not sure. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
