107th Malasakit Center opens at LHRMH in Mt. Province

MOUNTAIN PROVINCE - Poor and indigent patients in the province and other nearby areas will now be confident to seek hospitalization and treatment with the opening of a Malasakit Center at the Luis Hora Regional Memorial Hospital(LHRMH) in Abatan, Bauko on Friday(May 7).
Senator Lawrence Bong Go, who authored the Malasakit Centers Act of 2019, led the launching ceremony of the LHRMH Malasakit Center via online with Presidential Adviser for the Visayas Sec. Michael Dino and Department of Health Undersecretary Roger Tong-an, a Director Angeline del Mundo of the DOH-Malasakit Program Office and DOH-CAR Regional Director Dr. Ruby Constantino.

PARAÑAQUE CITY, March 3 (PIA) The National Quincentennial Committee (NQC) is inviting the public to join its online lecture dubbed, “Countdown to 500” on Friday, March 5 at 10 a.m., in preparation for the 2021 Quincentennial Commemorations in the Philippines (2021 QCP).
In the 18th Countdown to 500 Online Lecture, Dr. George Emmanuel Borrinaga of University of San Carlos will discuss the War God of Homonhon and the arrival of Magellan. Homonhon is an island in the province of Eastern Samar on the east side of Leyte Gulf, and approximately 670 southeast of Manila.
The Online Lecture series is a special program brought by the National Quincentennial Committee, Office of the President of the Philippines, and the Presidential Communications Operations Office.
