Sharjah Ruler restructures Urban Planning Council

His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, issued Emiri Decree No. (7) of 2021 amending Emiri Decree No. (20) of 2019 regarding the restructuring of the Sharjah Urban Planning Council (SUPC).
The new Emiri Decree stipulates that the new SUPC Board of Directors will be chaired by Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of Sharjah Executive Council, with Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Bin Saud Al Qasimi as Vice Chairman and Director of the Council.
United Party for National Development (UPND) has accused the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) of offering the party’s Mpulungu Parliamentary candidate Leonard Mbao $1 million so that to withdraw his candidature in a electoral context with former Presidential Affairs Minister Freedom Sikazwe
UPND National Spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa challenged Mr Sikazwe and the Patriotic Front to deny the fact that they have offered Mr Mbao $1 million to withdraw his candidature said reality is finally catching up with the PF that Zambians were annoyed with them.
Mr Mweetwa revealed during a media briefing in Choma that the Patriotic Front having sensed defeat for Mr. Sikazwe in the August Parliamentary election has offered the UPND candidate $1 million to have him withdraw and support the PF candidate in the election.
Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) has announced the relocation of the Abu Dhabi Labour Court to its new headquarters in Mussafah (Sector 34).
The facility is built on an area of 7,572 square metres at a cost of Dh72 million, as part of the continuous development efforts to serve the integrated judicial services system.
Youssef Saeed Al Abri, Undersecretary of the ADJD, said that the completion of the Abu Dhabi Labour Court building ensures universal access to services, in line with the directives of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs and President of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, to lay down an integrated programme that facilitates workers’ access to justice and obtaining their rights that are guaranteed by the UAE laws and in accordance with international standards.

Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Eric Molale has rubbished growing allegations within the ruling Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) that he has finally made up his mind to quit politics.
Three weeks ago, Molale together with Dr Thapelo Matsheka and Member of Parliament for Mmathete/Molapowabojang Dr Edwin Dikoloti met President Mokgweetsi Masisi at State House where they requested to be dropped from cabinet in order to focus on their constituencies.
President Masisi is said to have talked them out from resigning from cabinet as it will be viewed as a sign of no confidence on his administration. Molale is said to have now made up his mind and will resign as a Member of Parliament for Goodhope/Mabule as well as from active politics in June this year.
