UAE opens two hospitals in Somaliland

A delegation from the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation has opened two hospitals in the Republic of Somaliland.
The first, is the Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Hospital, in the city of Berbera, northwestern Somalia, and the second, is a specialised hospital for women, childbirth and neonatal care, in the city of Burao, the second largest city in Somaliland.
The move comes in line with the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the support of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and the direct follow up of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of the Foundation.

Capitol Hill, Monrovia – The Executive Governor of the Central Bank of Liberia (CBL), Jolue Aloysius Tarlue says to address the shortage of Liberian banknotes on the market, the CBL needs the authorization to print L$27.5 billion to infuse in the economy over the period of three years.
