Jan. 27 STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. The office of New York Attorney General Letitia James is seeking the input of any Staten Islander who paid money to a New Jersey business for sought-after gaming consoles and didn’t receive the devices.
Multiple complaints in regard to Prestigious Marketing Concepts have been filed in recent weeks with attorney generals’ offices in New York and New Jersey, in addition to the 123rd Precinct on Staten Island.
“The complaints center around Prestigious Marketing Concepts, a business that claimed to have the in-demand consoles available for purchase, yet has failed to provide them to customers who paid in full,” read a written statement issued by the attorney general’s press office.

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. Authorities in New York and New Jersey are investigating several complaints alleging a team of saleswomen took large sums of money for PS5 and Xbox consoles meant for Christmas gifts that were never delivered.
Five separate complaints have been filed with the New Jersey attorney general’s office, while the NYPD said police with Staten Island’s 123rd Precinct are investigating the matter as well. One complaint has also been filed with the office of New York Attorney General Letitia James.
