HYDERABAD: The e-auctioning of prime lands in Kokapet on Thursday offered a much-needed fillip to the Telangana government.
A single plot in the ‘Golden Mile’ layout was gobbled up for Rs 60.2 crore as against the upset price of Rs 25 crore. Its proud owner is now Rajapushpa Realty LLP.
Another plot measuring 1.65 acre fetched Rs 99.33 crore for the government. While Plot-2 in the ‘Neopolis’ layout was sold at Rs 42.40 crore as against the upset price of Rs 25 crore per acre, another parcel of land measuring 7.755 acres was bagged by Rajapushpa Properties Private Limited for Rs 328.81 crore.

Irfan Razack, CMD - BL× Prestige Estates Projects Limited has completed phase-1 of proposed transaction with Blackstone Group which included 100 per cent stake sale in six completed office projects (including a hotel), 50 per cent stake sale in four under-construction projects and 85 per cent stake sale in nine shopping malls.
In all, phase-1 transactions included sale of 12 assets/undertakings comprising completed retail, office and hotel assets. Phase 2 of the transaction is expected to get completed by the end of next quarter.
In a regulatory filing to exchanges, the company said phase-1 transactions involved ₹7,467 crore out of the total enterprise value of approximately ₹9,160 crore.

Prestige Estates Projects Limited (Prestige Group) has posted 59.42 per cent lower profits at ₹87.8 crore on a consolidated basis for the third quarter of FY21 against the ₹216.4-crore profit recorded in the same period last year.
The company’s total income is lower by 28.48 per cent to ₹1,928.2 crore against ₹2,696.3 crore in the same period last year.
Commenting on the performance, Irfan Razack, Chairman, Prestige Group, said: “Despite the challenging environment, the company has recorded its highest ever sales and collections during Q3 FY21.”
The group has clocked sales of ₹2,026 crore, up 80 per cent quarter-on-quarter and 55 per cent year-on-year.
