The borough s vaccine clinic went live in Waitrose HQ s Sports and Leisure Centre on December 22 with the help of Bracknell and Ascot health services. The conservative MP thanked Waitrose, East Berkshire Clinical Commissioning Group, DHSE and NHS staff for their efforts in the delivery of the vaccine. He said: What has been achieved here is absolutely first class. We ve got nhs staff, doctors nurses. We ve got so many people coming in for the first time having left their home in 9 months.

Will GP surgeries start to roll out Covid-19 vaccine in Bracknell

Covid-19 roll out Bracknell Forest residents have started to get vaccinated against Covid-19. Bracknell and Ascot health services joined forces and launched a clinic last week (December 22) that will provide the vaccine to help protect locals from coronavirus. But will local GP surgeries start rolling out the Covid-19 vaccine? What we know so far is that the Covid-19 clinic is open inside Waitrose HQ s sports and leisure centre hall. The vaccine hub is being led by GPs, nurses and pharmacists across Bracknell Forest, made up of three Primary Care Networks (PCNs) and Berkshire Primary Care. An NHS spokesman said the clinic will continue to operate for the foreseeable future and there are no plans for the vaccine to be rolled out in GP surgeries alone.
