UWI to ‘Rally Round SVG’ Social Share ON TUESDAY, April 13, 2021, The University of the West Indies (The UWI) hosted a live television programme aimed at highlighting the University’s response to the crisis in St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) and to promote its volcano relief appeal to support the country. The event themed Rally Round SVG was streamed live via UWItv. The UWI has responded with several initiatives to provide humanitarian relief to those affected, including its hundreds of students in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, a release from the UWI stated.
