Int’l Mother Language Day observed at JU 480 SAVAR, Feb 21, 2021 (BSS) – The authorities of Jahangirnagar University (JU) today observed the Amar Ekushey and International Mother Language Day in a befitting manner on the campus. Marking the day, teachers, officers and employees of the university paid glowing tributes to the martyrs, valiant sons of the soil who made supreme sacrifices to establish the rights of the mother tongue in 1952. On behalf of JU its Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Farzana Islam, JU teachers placed wreaths at the altar of the university’s Central Shaheed Minar at one minute past last night.
