The Deputy Executive Director / Chief Programs Officer (CPO) leads Human Rights Watch’s research, advocacy, media and legal work, supervising a staff of almost 300 professionals in more than 50 countries. The CPO is seeking a Deputy Director, Strategy and Collaboration to assist in the development and realization of the organization’s strategic goals, consistent with the core values of transparency, accountability, collaboration, creativity, and excellence. This is a new position, and the Deputy Director will have the opportunity to craft their role to support and enhance the Office of the CPO in supporting an organizational culture where staff thrive and do impactful work.
