JOHANNESBURG - The City of Joburg has warned job seekers to be vigilant after three people were arrested of making R400,000 from a Pikitup job scam.
It s understood that the trio had been targeting unsuspecting victims, charging them R600 for three-month contract jobs and R5,000 for permanent jobs at the company.

SOWETO - Noxolo Radebe (24) from Zola in Soweto was murdered in the early hours of Tuesday morning, allegedly by her boyfriend and his mother.
Radebe s family is in shock. She leaves behind her 4-year-old-son.
Police have confirmed that a 43-year-old woman was arrested.
She is expected to make her second appearance at the Protea Magistrate s Court on Wednesday.

Jostina Sangweni, 59, was attacked and set alight on 26 March at a house in Mapetla, Soweto.
Days later, she succumbed to her injuries in hospital.
