After a Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar said that 10 crore people would be vaccinated in this category and the vaccine would be given free of cost across 10,000 government centres and at more than 20,000 private centres. New Delhi [India], February 24 (ANI): Union Agriculture MinisterNarendra Singh Tomar said on Wednesday that the government has still left its door open for discussions with the farmers regarding the three new farm laws.
Recalling the previous talks held with farmers agitating against central farm laws, Tomar said: The Government of India is committed to double farmers income and work towards agriculture s welfare. Discussions have been held many times, if they have a point to raise even now, we are ready to discuss.
"On this day, 2 years ago the PM-Kisan scheme was launched with an aim to ensure a life of dignity as well as prosperity for our hardworking farmers, who work day and night to keep our nation fed. The tenacity and passion of our farmers is inspiring," Modi said.

Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar on Wednesday presented the prestigious Prime Minister’s Kisan National Award to Nellore Collector K.V.N. Chakradhar Babu.
The district was ranked first in resolving grievances received under PM Kisan portal, an official release here said.
The award was presented during the second anniversary of the PM-Kisan Yojana in New Delhi. State Agriculture Special Commissioner H. Arun Kumar and District Joint Director Y. Ananda Kumari were among those present on the occasion. While Nellore’s efforts were appreciated in resolving grievances, Anantapur bagged the award for achieving 99.6% physical verification of beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantr
