Oakland County GOP Headquarters targeted by vandals

OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. (WXYZ) â Police are investigating after the Oakland County Republican Party Headquarters was vandalized on Jan. 7.
A brick was thrown through a window at the headquarters and graffiti was spray-painted on the outside of the building, according to a police report made by a volunteer who discovered the vandalism early Thursday morning.
The Bloomfield Township Police Department is investigating the incident.
No one was inside the building at the time of the vandalism.

Vehicle crashes into Michigan restaurant after two-car collision

BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI – A car crashed into a restaurant on Tuesday morning after a two-vehicle collision in the roadway.
Police were called to the scene around 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 22, for a report of a two-vehicle crash with injuries, WXYZ Detroit reports. One of the vehicles had also crashed into the Andiamo Restaurant, which is near the roadway in an out lot of a strip mall on Telegraph Road in Bloomfield Township.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a Toyota Camry, driven by an 87-year-old woman, was making a left turn into the shopping center when the vehicle was struck by a Ford Escape, police said. The impact caused the Camry to continue travelling into the shopping center parking lot where it came to a stop after colliding with the restaurant. Andiamo was closed at the time of the crash. Both drivers received medical treatment at a local hospital, police said.

BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) â Police are investigating after a car struck Andiamo Restaurant in Bloomfield Township Tuesday morning.
Around 8 a.m., Bloomfield Township Police and Fire responded to a report of a two-car injury accident. Police say a Toyota Camry driven by an 87-year-old woman was in the median crossing from northbound Telegraph Road to the entrance into the Plaza shopping center.
Police say the Camry collided with a Ford Escape traveling southbound on Telegraph Road. After impact, police say the Camry continued through the shopping plaza and struck the restaurant. Andiamo was closed at the time of the collision.
