TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) Educators across the state are hoping they will soon be in the demographic to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
Currently, COVID vaccinations are dispensed based on age, and are available to first responders and health care workers. South Vermillion Community School Corporation Superintendent Dave Chapman says teachers are vulnerable. When the kids go home and they go about their business with their families and such, there s no control the schools have over that, said Chapman. We are somewhat vulnerable as educators when those kids come back to exposure. That s created a problem for educators all across the board.
