The QEH wants to say thank you to the 2,598 people who voted to name the facility, which will provide a dedicated space for bereaved parents. The quiet and private space will enable parents going through this unimaginable time to create precious memories with their baby, in a safe and comfortable environment separate from the clinical setting. Call for donations to King s Lynn hospital s Bereavement Suite charity auction  | Updated: 16:51, 15 February 2021 Fundraisers at Lynn s Queen Elizabeth Hospital are appealing for donations for their online charity auction to raise funds for the Maternity Bereavement Suite Appeal. Former graphic designer Nikki Brown-Smith has already donated her oil painting of Hunstanton Lighthouse after she spent 300 hours creating her masterpiece during lockdown. She hopes to raise at least £300 for the appeal. Calling for community support, organisers are urging residents, and even artists, to look through their attics and garages during lockdown and donate items such as artwork, coins, military or sporting memorabilia.

Scooter sisters support King s Lynn hospital charity appeal  | Updated: 08:12, 11 February 2021 Sisters Polly Anderson, aged nine, and Robyn Symons, aged seven, are raising money for the Lynn News charity of the year, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital maternity bereavement suite appeal by travelling 30 miles on their scooters. Accompanied by parents James and Ellie, their baby sister, and dog, their target is to travel a total of 30 miles around their local area over the next two weeks. The money raised will contribute towards QEH’s Maternity Bereavement Suite Appeal. So far, the girls have received support through 42 donations amounting to £565. Robyn’s mother, Ellie Anderson, said: “As a family we are really active, and at the moment going for a walk and getting fresh air is the highlight of our day!
