UPDATED: January 29, 2021 15:09 IST MMRDA officials said trials would be conducted for the next two months before giving the green signal (File photo) Mumbai Metropolitan Regional Development Authority (MMRDA) is likely to start services on the much-awaited Metro 2A (Dahisar-DN Nagar) and Metro 7 (Dahisar East to Andheri East) routes by May after it received the first indigenously built rake from Bharat Earth Movers Limited this week. The rakes were unveiled in the city by Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and his deputy Ajit Pawar at the Charkop depot on Friday. MMRDA officials said trials would be conducted for the next two months before giving the green signal.
