NCP president Sharad Pawar on Thursday said the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government in Maharashtra will complete its full term and praised ally Shiv Sena, saying it is party which one can trust.
In a strongly worded editorial in its mouthpiece Saamana, the party said it was ‘hilarious’ to note that the BJP is celebrating the induction of Jitin Prasada. Maharashtra’s ruling party described Prasada as a young leader, but said that he was of “no use to the Congress and will remain so to the BJP.”
Just days after Prime Minister Modi and Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray in the national capital, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut. Raut said that Modi was the top leader of the country and the BJP. He made the statement when asked whether he felt that Modi’s popularity was on a downslide when some reports suggested that the RSS was contemplating on projecting state leaders as the face in state polls.
