Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut launched a scathing attack on the Central government in Rajya Sabha during the motion of thanks on the President s address on Friday.
Slamming the Narendra Modi government, Raut said that there is a new trend to charge anybody who questions the government with sedition.
On the other hand, he also raised the issue of purported WhatsApp chats of Republic TV editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami.
He said that Goswami has violated the Official Secrets Act and questioned the government, “Which kind of case are you going to register against him? It s a matter of national security.”
