Two Central Queensland politicians have voiced their contrasting opinions on the rollout of the Federal Governmentâs 2021 budget.
Member for Flynn Ken OâDowd said Australians were well on the road to recovery, with the Federal Government promising to rebuild the economy and create more jobs after a COVID-19 induced recession. âAustralia entered the crisis from a position of economic strength having brought the Budget back to balance for the first time in 11 years,â Mr OâDowd said.
âThis provided us with the fiscal firepower to support the Flynn community when we needed it most including record funding for schools, hospitals, aged care, mental health and the NDIS.â
