UPDATE 6.10PM: A woman thrown from her car has been taken to Mackay Base Hospital following a two-vehicle crash on the Bruce Highway south of Bloomsbury.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said she was being treated for abdomen, leg and arm pain.
The spokeswoman said the second woman was being taken to Proserpine Hospital and being treated for minor head injuries and chest pain.
Both women are reported to be in a stable condition.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 4.08pm.

Motorists on the Bruce Highway north of Mackay are warned of possible delays as emergency services clear the scene of a crash.
Two cars reportedly collided on the Bruce Highway near Knobels Rd about 5.30pm.
The occupants of the vehicles are believed to have escaped uninjured but one of the cars is blocking a lane.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services and police crews are en route to the incident where it is understood a vehicle was leaking fluid on the roadway.
One vehicle, a ute, has been loaded on a tow truck but a blue sedan remained in the middle of the highway.

Queensland Ambulance paramedics were called to the incident on Milton St near Graffunder St in South Mackay about 12.25pm Sunday. Paramedics on scene assessed two people involved in the two-car collision before they were taken to Mackay Base Hospital. They were in stable conditions.
