2021-05-05 15:41:15 In this edition of the series ‘Mongolian Fine Art Masterpiece’ brought to you by MONTSAME News Agency in cooperation with Mongolian National Art Gallery, we are presenting the artwork, ‘Khoyor Buur’ (Two male camels) by People’s Artist of Mongolia, Honored Art Figure A.Sengetsokhio.  The artwork was painted on a 70x80 canvas using gouache in 1971. With the scene taking place in the snow-covered Gobi desert during the cold harsh winter, the piece depicts how majestic a camel can look in great detail. Despite a herd of camels peacefully grazing in the distance, two male camels - one black and one red, fill the frame as they rub against one another. The depiction of their large body and wavy hair covered in frost, strong hooves, and its big eyes angrily looking around suggests a fierce battle may soon take place.
