National Apprenticeship Week runs until February 14. The week is dedicated to promoting the benefits that apprenticeships offer to people of all ages through valuable qualifications and work experience. Councillor Andrew Jefferies, Cabinet Member for Education, said: “Apprenticeships are a fantastic way for young people to earn while they learn and progress towards developing a rewarding career. “The Thurrock Opportunities website provides a huge range of information, guidance and support for those interested in starting an apprenticeship or similar qualification. “The website provides details on local apprenticeship opportunities and will host a number of live webinars throughout the week for young people, their parents, schools and local employers to engage with and find out more about what’s on offer.”
