Islamabad [Pakistan], April 9 (ANI): The Islamabad High Court has called on ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to revitalise the country s National Commission for Human Rights (NCHR), after activists and former NCHR workers accused Prime Minister Imran Khan of deliberately sabotaging the human rights commission and stalling its functioning.
Activists have accused Imran Khan-led government of delaying the appointment of leadership roles in the commission to avoid facing accountability for human rights violations, especially those committed by the military, DW reported.
