COVID-19 vaccines available this week in La Crosse and Monroe County April 20, 2021 10:11 AM Jourdan Vian Updated: LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) Weber Health will be accepting walk-ins Wednesday at its La Crosse clinic and the Monroe County Health Department has openings Wednesday and Thursday for COVID-19 vaccine appointments. Weber Health will be administering the Pfizer vaccine from 1 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at its clinic, located at 333 Front St. N. (the former Century Link building). Insurance is not required and there is no cost to the patient. People aged 16 and older will be eligible. Minors will need a parent or guardian present to consent. Monroe County Has Highest Positive Test Rate in the State

Apr 19, 2021 The Monroe County Health Department says the average positive test rate is at 3.2 percent. There were 217 new cases confirmed since Saturday and the seven day average of new cases is 248. Nearly two-thirds of the new cases are in people under 40, Sixty people are currently in intensive care.  

COVID-19 vaccinations available April 20 and 22 in Monroe

The Monroe County Health Department has opened a limited amount of additional COVID-19 vaccination appointments for Tuesday and Thursday. The health department is operating its COVID-19 vaccination clinic at Monroe County Community College, Health Education Building, 1555 S. Raisinville Road. To schedule an appointment online, go to www.healthymonroecounty.com/covidvaccine and click the link for the scheduling page. Those who do not have online access and need a phone appointment option may call the health department at (734) 240-7925, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Mondays-Fridays. Those who are age 16 and older will be able to self-register online for the April 20 Pfizer vaccine clinic (those who are under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian). Those who are age 18 and older will be able to self-register through the website for the April 22 Moderna vaccine clinic.
