The more contagious COVID-19 variant discovered in England late last year has been found in Milwaukee, raising concerns of local health officials.  The variant known as B117 was reported in Milwaukee on Jan. 28. The fact that the virus is here, the mutant is here and that we know that it s more contagious and might be more deadly just highlights the need for everybody to continue to maintain precautions, said John Raymond, president of the Medical College of Wisconsin.
