A NEW digital guide has been published to help visitors and locals explore and savour more of what Shetland has to offer when it comes to food and drink.
The guide, from Shetland Food and Drink (SFAD), is fully interactive and available online or as a downloadable file.
SFAD chair Marian Armitage said: “We are delighted, and proud, to introduce you to the businesses we represent.

“This year there are over eighty of them, delivering the freshest, highest quality food and drink available anywhere, and a great range of services.”
The new guide contains information, images, contact details, maps and interactive links for all the group’s member businesses.
SHETLAND produce is set to be showcased on national TV this today (Wednesday) when chef Phil Vickery cooks local food live from the isles on
This Morning.
The programme will be broadcast on ITV from 10am, with the cooking demonstration due to take place at Busta House Hotel.
TV chef Vickey has been in the isles in recent days to film other segments which will air on 20 and 27 May.

He has been at Busta and Frankie’s fish and chip shop in Brae.
Meanwhile, Shetland Food and Drink Limited (SFAD) is seeking a local photograph to appear on the side of the new Taste of Shetland trailer which has now arrived in the isles, as well as a name for the vehicle.

FOUR productions have been selected to perform at the Garrison Theatre in April as part of Shetland Artsâ Refresh Now programme.
The performances will be staged according to Covid restrictions in place at the time, but at the moment they are planned to be filmed and screened online.
You Made Me is written by Stephenie Pagulayan, directed by Morag Mouat and presented by Islesburgh Drama Group.
