On February 18, 2021, around 7am, the METRICH/MARMET Drug Task Force with the assistance of the Marion County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 3000 block of Marion Waldo Road in Marion County.
During the execution of the search warrant, MARMET detectives located 391 grams of fentanyl and 51 grams of cocaine.
Arrested was Jorge Moctezuma Jr, age 23 of Marion, Ohio. Moctezuma was taken to the Multi County Jail for Trafficking in Fentanyl and Trafficking in Cocaine. Formal charges will be filed by Marion County Prosecutor Ray Grogan. The fentanyl found during the execution of this search warrant could kill an estimated 195,000 people and this seizure will undoubtedly save lives of Marion residents. INDIANAPOLIS Indy Metro Police have arrested a man for an October murder.
On Oct. 16, 2020, IMPD North District officers were called to the 2700 block of Hyche Ave. on a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, officers found 18-year-old Randall Jenkins. Jenkins had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Thursday, IMPD arrested 18-year-old Domonique Freeman for Jenkins’ murder.
The Marion County Prosecutors Office will review the case and make a final charging decision. Share

(Reuters) - Police arrested a juvenile on Monday in the shooting deaths of a pregnant woman, her unborn child and four others found at a home in Indianapolis and authorities said the mass killing “does not appear to be random.”
The youth, who was not identified, was apprehended in a “homicide arrest” a day after the gruesome scene was uncovered by police at about 4 a.m. local time on Sunday, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said in a statement.
Authorities were led to the crime scene by a juvenile male suffering gunshot wounds who was found on the street nearby and may be the only survivor of the violence, police said.
