MACKINAW CITY, MICH. If you’ve ever marveled at the artillery used in historic reenactments, then a Michigan park has a bucket-list worthy thrill in store for you.
Colonial Michilimackinac, the reconstructed 18th-century fort and fur-trading village at the tip of Michigan’s mitten, is unveiling a new program in 2021 that will give visitors the rare opportunity to fire off the fort’s four black-powder weapons over the Straits of Mackinac.
