Friends and family remembered with fondness and sorrow a well-known figure among Minneapolis skateboarders whose body was recovered from the Mississippi River on Tuesday, more than three weeks after he fell into the water while trying to leave his KGOD moniker on the Stone Arch Bridge.
The Hennepin County Water Patrol launched near St. Anthony lock and dam and made the recovery, said the Sheriff s Office. The body was taken to the Medical Examiner s Office to confirm the identity and determine a cause of death.

The Hennepin County Sheriff s Office is investigating an incident where a woman was injured after a snowmobile drove through an ice fishing house on Lake Minnetonka Friday.
According to the Hennepin County Sheriff s Office, at about 6 p.m. Friday, the Hennepin County Water Patrol and Wayzata police were dispatched to a crash involving a snowmobile and a fish house on Wayzata Bay of Lake Minnetonka.
An investigation learned that a 25-year-old woman was sitting in the fish house when a snowmobile went through the fish house and clipped her. The driver of the snowmobile did not stop and left the scene prior to the arrival of first responders.
