Rodney Velho, 45, pleaded guilty to intentional second-degree murder Monday in Hennepin County District Court. Velho shot and killed Kevin Logan Jr., 31, on April 19, 2020. According to the criminal complaint, Velho was celebrating his girlfriend’s birthday at her house at the 11800 block of 80th Avenue in Maple Grove.
