When Ellipsometry Works Best: A Case Study With Transparent Conductive Oxides An ellipsometry case study (read the abstract below) has recently published based on the optical characterization that has been performed using a J. A. Woollam Mark II IR Variable Angle Spectroscopic Ellipsometry (VASE) at Nottingham Trent University. One of the co-authors was Nikolaos Kalfagiannis who is the main user of the IR VASE ellipsometer. Nikoalos is part of the academic team at MTIF - The Medical Technologies Innovation Facility is a dual-site research and development facility available to industry and academic institutions to support and accelerate the development of innovative medical technologies. Quantum Design UK & Ireland and Medical Technologies Innovation Facility enter into Partnership Agreement Date Announced: 11 Jan 2021 Agreement will aim to benefit the life science and semiconductor market sectors and research labs to accelerate the development of new innovative technologies. Quantum Design, UK and Ireland (QD) and Medical Technologies Innovation Facility (MTIF) are pleased to announce they have entered into a partnership agreement affording customers the ability to view and utilise the JA Woollam IR VASE II Spectroscopic Ellipsometer. Indeed, this is only one of two such instruments in the UK and the only one now made available to customers in the UK in this way.
