Purpose of the position:
To manage the processes, operations, and employees of the Laboratory, together with the RMP, to ensure all strategic business goals are met.
Key performance areas:
To analyse and implement general Laboratory processes and procedures with a focus on continuous improvement.
Compile and manage short and long-term Laboratory strategic goals and ensure alignment with company strategic objectives.
Assist Lab Managers and TQM to manage the accreditation processes to ensure standards are maintained, including Laboratory occupational health and safety and waste management.
To provide management development and assistance to Laboratory managers to ensure department growth and profitability, enhance talent management and also ensure employee well-being is attained – within the existing HR policies and procedures.

TOPSHAM – Carol Jack, 81, of Topsham, passed away, surrounded by family, on Saturday April 24, 2021 following a brief illness.
Carol was born in Quincy, Mass. on Nov. 26, 1939, the daughter of Edwin and Mary Davidson. She graduated from North Quincy High School and attended Colby College in Waterville for two years. She then earned her MT degree from the Boston University Hospital School of Medical Technology.
Carol married Richard Jack following his graduation from the University of Maine. They moved to Ft. Sill, Okla. where Richard fulfilled his military obligation as a 2nd Lt. in the Army Artillery. They then moved to the Hudson Valley area of New York State where they lived and worked for the next 36 years. Carol worked as a Medical Technologist in local hospitals and doctors offices. Dr. Megan Taylor
The office of Dr. Annette Bauer and Dr. Justin Beck announced the addition of an associate dentist, Dr. Megan Taylor, a Xenia native who received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and a Certification of Clinical Laboratory Science from Wright State University.
Dr. Taylor moved to Morgantown, West Virginia, in 2010, where she worked as a Medical Technologist until obtaining her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 2016. Upon graduation, she chose to stay in West Virginia and serve rural communities for a few years.
Recently, she moved back to Ohio to be close to her family and practice dentistry. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages and strives to be as current as possible with new technology and materials by regularly attending continuing education courses. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.
