Air Force Global Strike Command is hosting an appreciation day across all wings within its command on Wednesday. This day is to honor medical personnel from the 5th Medical Group because of their dedication and incredible work during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to information from Minot Air Force Base Public Affairs. “Due to their selflessness and drive to keep our airmen and their families safe, our mission has continued without interruption. Bombers are flying, ICBM forces are on alert 24/7, and training is happening. Because of them, strikers across the command continue to serve and deploy around the world 24/7, safeguarding U.S. national interests and those of our allies and partners,” the information also said.
