Ashutosh Jain AN under-fire consultant has left the University of Morecambe Bay Hospitals Trust, it has been confirmed. Ashutosh Jain was criticised for errors that played a role in the deaths of patients being treated by the trust which runs Furness General and Westmorland General hospitals. He is among three urologists who have come under fire due to failures in patient care, with an external inquiry looking into concerns that date back to 2001. Coroners ruled clinical errors made by Mr Jain and former colleagues Kavinder Madhra, and Muhammad Naseem contributed to the deaths of two patients. UHMBT has now confirmed that Mr Jain, who has been a doctor for more than two decades, has left the trust.
