Jan 13, 2021 LIBERTY The Liberty office of Akron Children’s Hospital Pediatrics is relocating but remaining on Belmont Avenue, a move that gives the health care provider more room to treat patients. The new office at 3530 Belmont Ave., Suite 8, is expected to open Tuesday, according to the hospital. It is now located at 4308 Belmont Ave. With the move, the number of primary care exam rooms is increasing from six to nine. The facility also includes a dedicated room for behavioral health services that will be available starting in February, according to Akron Children’s. “Our larger office will help us expand access to pediatric primary care for patients in Youngstown, Liberty Township and surrounding areas,” said Ben Teske, director of operations for Akron Children’s Hospital Pediatrics. “The addition of behavioral health services will help us meet the growing needs of mental health care in our community.”
