SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – A much-anticipated vaccine against the coronavirus behind COVID-19 will be administered in the arms of St. Nicholas Hospital – Sheboygan staff “in the coming days and weeks” according to word received Wednesday from Hospital Sisters Health System and its partner Prevea Health.
The first round of COVID-19 vaccines was provided to a number of Green Bay-based frontline health care workers on Wednesday at St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center.
HSHS Wisconsin President and CEO Andy Bagnall called yesterday “a monumental day as we take those first steps toward really changing the course of this pandemic.”

HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital Thursday administered the first COVID-19 vaccine dose to hospital colleague Rebecca Kistner, RN, who works on the hospital’s medical/surgical care floor. The first physician to receive the vaccine was Dr. Sheera Lall, an emergency department provider. All of the vaccines were administered smoothly and safely.
