Thank you Kyleen Gray for reminding us about the important advice Sick Kids’ pediatricians have issued about school openings (‘Sick Kids offers best advice on keeping schools open, Jan. 30.) The updated Sick Kids document is well-referenced about the value of having children in schools. But that guideline continues is light on occupational health and safety concerns.
A recent Maclean’s piece talked about the “cognitive load” as we sift through a bombardment of information during these challenging times. It would help if government and community leaders delivered clear, consistent, and reliable information. Alas, they have not, so we need to figure this out on our own.
