Shootings in Vallejo injure several people, leave 1 dead VALLEJO Police are investigating a pair of shootings that happened about 24 hours apart and left one man dead and several people injured. A shooting was reported between 9:30 and 9:45 p.m. Friday in the area of Sage Street and Griffin Drive. Medic Ambulance Service reports that four ambulances were called to the scene. Police as of 8:15 p.m. Saturday had not released information about the number of people shot or injured and the nature of their injuries; or their ages, genders and cities of residence. A separate shooting was reported shortly before 9 p.m. Thursday on the 1600 block of Fairgrounds Drive.

Medic highlights top team members in innovative ambulance program for National Nurses Week VALLEJO A pair of nurses in a program pioneered almost a decade ago by Medic Ambulance Service are their respective county’s top performers and are being singled out for recognition during National Nurses Week.
