Rahul Gandhi wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to allow Indians access to Covid-19 vaccines made abroad, the Centre has decided to fast track emergency approvals for foreign-produced shots. Following Rahul Gandhi s letter, the BJP-led government had accused him of lobbying for pharma companies.
According to sources, around 10 crore doses of the Sputnik V vaccine is likely to be imported for emergency use in the country in the next six to seven months.
