Driver found shot to death in stolen car after cops called to crash, officials say Updated 8:53 PM; A driver was found fatally shot Thursday in a stolen car in Trenton and his passenger was hospitalized, officials said. Police were called around 6:30 p.m. to a vehicle crash at North Clinton Avenue and Poplar Street, where they found a stolen Audi with two occupants, according to Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office spokeswoman Casey DeBlasio. The driver, identified only as a male, was shot and pronounced dead at a local hospital, the spokeswoman said. His passenger suffered from seizures and was taken to a hospital, she said.

Cops ID man found shot to death in car that crashed into parked vehicles Updated Apr 30, 2021; Ramire Harvey, 25, of Trenton, was in the driver’s seat of a car that struck two other vehicles near the corner of North Clinton Avenue and Poplar Street in the city around 6:30 p.m., according to the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office. Harvey was brought to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The car, which was not stolen as officials said previously, had multiple bullet holes in it. Authorities also said Thursday a passenger was hospitalized after suffering seizures. On Friday, the prosecutor’s office instead said a woman who was in the area at the time of the crash suffered a “medical episode” and was hospitalized.

Flemington NJ woman nominated as next Hunterdon County prosecutor

MyCentralJersey.com FLEMINGTON – A borough woman has been nominated by Gov. Phil Murphy to serve as the next Hunterdon County prosecutor. Renee Robeson, a senior assistant prosecutor in the Mercer County Prosecutor s Office, was nominated Monday for the top law enforcement post in the county. The nomination for the five-year term has been referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee. Robeson has worked for the Mercer County Prosecutor s Office since January 2004. She is a graduate of Widener University School of Law. Renee is a career prosecutor who is extremely qualified to lead the men and women of the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office, said Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri. It has been my honor to work with her for nearly 20 years. Clearly, Mercer County s loss is Hunterdon County s gain.
