Dee Cobban, Team Leader, preparing to welcome back Forget-Me-Not Club members.
Based in Banchory, Bennett House, the Forget Me Not resource centre enables the experienced and dedicated team to provide dementia support to not only members living with a dementia diagnosis but also their carers.
Offering respite day care, its members are provided with a welcoming home-from-home environment where they can enjoy conversation, music, activities, gentle exercise, live entertainment and a home-made, warm, healthy lunch.
Whilst the team care for its members, this provides an opportunity for carers to have a break, knowing that their loved ones are being well looked after.

An Aberdeenshire choir will perform its spring concert – which will feature the premiere of a new song – digitally.
The Banchory Singers’ free concert – taking place on Sunday May 16 at 4pm on Zoom – will also aim to raise funds for local charities.
The choir’s chairperson Marion Mathie said: “Once again we hope to attract a global audience for our concert and by making it a free concert, we aim to attract donations that will help local charities at this time when normal fundraising activities are not possible.”

Family and friends of former Dons star and coach Chic McLelland have paid tribute after he passed away at the age of 67.
The long-serving defender – who made more than 150 appearances for the Pittodrie side and later returned as a youth coach – had suffered from early onset dementia for around 10 years, and contracted Covid-19 last week.
Born in Glasgow, Chic moved to Aberdeen as a 14-year-old to join the Dons’ youth ranks. Having started out as a forward, he became a favourite in the Granite City as a reliable full-back.
