Melaka MCPF to launch campaign against incestuous child abuse

Melaka MCPF chief Edison Chan ( pic) said MCPF would be working with the state police in highighting the importance of creating a Protect & Prevent environment for children following a dramatic increase in incest cases in Melaka during the movement control order (MCO) period. “Melaka police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Abdul Majid has voiced his concerns to us over the unprecedented hike in rape cases within families. “MCPF Melaka will do its part to create awareness, targeting perpetrators and the victims, ” he said on the sidelines of the MCPF’s AGM in Ayer Keroh here Saturday (Dec 19).
