KUALA LUMPUR: The new Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani is on the right track by focusing on strengthening integrity among the police.
Malaysian Crime Prevention Foundation (MCPF) executive council member Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye said the IGP s plans, including boosting in-service training (LDP) to improve the level of integrity in the police force, was welcome. It is important to breed integrity among the police, as well as build a work culture based on professionalism, ethics and efficiency. Integrity and proper work culture will strengthen and bring back public confidence towards the force, he said on Saturday (May 8).

MELAKA: The case study of a seven-year-old boy, allegedly the youngest former drug addict in Kedah, is the driving force for Malaysian Crime Prevention Foundation (MCPF) Kedah secretary s all-out campaign to eradicate drug abuse among juveniles in the state.
CR Wan Su Haron shared her experience on how she met the boy in Kuala Nerang, Kedah during an anti-drug counselling session with various government departments in late 2018. The seven-year-old behaved aggressively when we arrived at his wooden house. The boy was addicted to syabu together with his parents, she said in an interview here on Sunday (Dec 18).
Wan Su was in Melaka to attend the MCPF s 27th AGM that was officiated by Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob at a hotel in Ayer Keroh on Saturday (Dec 19).
