ELKINS Newly elected City of Elkins Mayor Jerry Marco signed his first two proclamations Wednesday at City Hall.
Marco, who took over as mayor on April 1, showed his support for National Child Abuse Prevention Month early in the morning on Tuesday, then in the afternoon signed his second proclamation for National Donate Life Month.

ELKINS The month of April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and City of Elkins Mayor Jerry Marco will sign a proclamation in support of the cause today at City Hall. It will be the newly elected mayor’s first proclamation since taking office on April 1 and covers a subject that is near and dear to his heart.
