Havre Police Department A Third Street caller reported Friday at 8:29 a.m. that a car was broken into during the night and items were missing. Friday at 11:07 a.m., a caller on 15th Avenue reported that a car had been spray painted and broken into during the night. A caller at a First Street business reported that the building had been spray painted during the night. Havre City Council Monday unanimously approved a variance to allow a local group to put up 40 ribbons and signs downtown in memory of the 40 Hill County residents who have died from COVID-19-related causes. Will Rawn, a member of the group, said they had received a one-month approval from the Montana Department of Transportation to display the white ribbons and signs, and removed the signs Sunday but wanted to put them up downtown.

Havre Police Department Officers investigated a two-vehicle crash reported Thursday at 11:56 a.m. at 14th Street West and Washington Avenue. A 17-year-old girl was arrested on charges of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, and Anthony Garren Azure of Havre, 22, was arrested on charges of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and endangering the welfare of children and on a Justice or City court warrant after.
