More than 370 Credit Union professionals gather at annual meeting & convention
DENVER, CO (May 7, 2021) The Mountain West Credit Union Association (MWCUA) released its annual report to association members and disclosed financial reporting for the year ending December 31, 2020 at its annual business meeting May 6. The meeting was conducted during the Association’s first-ever hybrid annual meeting and convention happening in-person at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess in Scottsdale, AZ, and virtually on an interactive online platform. The annual business meeting was live cast to those members participating on the virtual platform.
The hybrid annual meeting and convention includes more than 370 conference attendees representing 55 credit unions from across the Association’s three state region, Arizona, Colorado and Wyoming. The Association holds its annual business meeting as part of the convention. V
Trona Valley has joined with credit unions in Wyoming and across the country to participate in credit union awareness and contribute to the Open Your Eyes to a Credit Union® campaign.
The campaign is part of a long-term national program to drive greater top-of-mind consideration of credit unions as the best financial services provider. The campaign is designed to complement Trona Valley’s marketing strategies.
“It’s time to celebrate. This is special because the great Cowboy state of Wyoming represents the 26th state to launch this first-of-its-kind digital campaign. This is made possible due to the support of Mountain West Credit Union Association, Wyoming credit unions, and more than 1,100 organizations around the country,” according to CEO & President, Jeremy Gibson.

Leading the way with dual programs, live cast events, young professionals’ gatherings
DENVER, CO (April 29, 2021) The Mountain West Credit Union Association (MWCUA) will host its first-ever hybrid annual meeting & convention May 3-7, happening in-person at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess in Scottsdale, AZ, and virtually on an interactive online platform. The event begins with a pre-conference virtual session on Monday, May 3, and concludes with the annual Children’s Miracle Network/Credit Unions for Kids celebration on Friday, May 7.
The dual programmed conference offers separate track speakers and presentations, along with combined live cast events, such as the organization’s Annual Business Meeting set for Thursday, May 6. There are also specific events geared towards fostering collaboration among the organizations’ young professionals’ group.
