Maluach Named to All-Mountain West Third Team
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. Senior Makuach Maluach of The University of New Mexico men’s basketball team will complete his career a highly-decorated Lobo as he added another accolade to his list on Tuesday, All-Mountain West Third Team member. This marks the first time Maluach has been named to an All-Mountain West team with the exception of earning MW Academic honors previously.
Nearing the end of his collegiate career, Maluach ranks 17th all-time in UNM program history in scoring as he has amassed 1,292 career points. He passed a total of 18 former Lobo greats that were members of the 1,000 point club this season.

AUSTIN, Texas (Jan. 11, 2021) – The Austin Spurs today announced that they have selected forward Jonathan Kasibabu with the 14th pick in the first round and guards Anthony Mathis and Kaleb Johnson with the 31st and 34th overall selections in the second round of the 2021 NBA G League Draft.
Kasibabu, 6-8/240, played for the G League’s Long Island Nets last season, averaging 7.6 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 20.2 minutes per game. In four seasons at Fairfield University from 2015-19, he posted 7.9 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.1 blocks in 21.3 minutes per game for the Stags. As a senior, he earned the MAAC Defensive Player of the Year award, when he ranked second in the conference in rebounds per game (7.4) and tied for fifth in blocks per game (0.8).
