The Black Hills Area Salvation Army expects to serve over 6,000 individuals during the holiday season.
The organization reports that they have raised 62% of their campaign goal – they need an additional $130,000 to raise until the end of the year.
Capt. Javier Moreno, Black Hills Area Coordinator of Salvation Army, says, “It is quite a big task that we have ahead of us, but you know, we have seen the generosity throughout these past days and how they have really come through, and so we have cautious optimism about reaching our goal this year.”
